Why You Shouldn't Be So Hard On Yourself

Today is Sunday the 21st May 2017 and I felt fine when I woke up etc,ate breakfast then I started watching deadly women on Netflix, but by lunchtime I started to feel down and just not myself. I had lunch and then decided to get outside and go for a walk, well it wasn't that long and after I got home I still felt meh. I'm not really sure why I feel like this I'm not due on, I have a job etc but I guess we all have these days even when things relativity fine.

So I'm writing this post to remind myself and you if you're having one of those days too that we shouldn't be so hard on yourselves because of one crummy day it's not the end of the world! there's a whole new week to start again. I think it's also partly boredom and then I start to eat when I'm probably not even hungry.

If you're having a bad day with finding a job or school work/uni work etc then take a break and have a pamper session, read a book or go for a walk. Take your mind of things and don't beat yourself up for taking a break things can become draining. I know what it's like looking for a job,its hard and I hated it but I took breaks from looking and then got back into it, and now I have a job.

Here are some positive quotes to help you feel like you again!

Garnier Soothing Botantical Rose Water Skincare Review

I rarely try new skincare as I just stick to what I know but when I saw Garnier had a new rose water skincare range out I just had to try it!. So I saw these (the toner & milk) on offer in boots, the day cream came from Superdrug also on offer (at the time of buying) I'm not sure if they're as I post this.

Soothing Botanical Toner-
The toner is pretty much like micellar water but it smells of rose!, it's gentle on the skin and removes make up well. It contains 96% natural origin ingredients and the rose water isn't over powering which is good. After using this my skin feels clean, fresh and it also soothes the skin and tones at the same time. This range is for dry/sensitive skin which is perfect for me as I have sensitive skin.

Soothing Botanical Cleansing Milk-
The cleansing milk is good and I normally use this at night after using the toner. It's like a bit more runnier than a moisturiser but it still makes my skin feel fresher and soft. This removes make up as well and also makes your skin feel cleaner and look fresher. This also hydrates the skin and soothes at the same time.

Garnier Day Cream-
I found this on offer in Superdrug for £2.95! I normally use simple moisturiser but I wanted to try this new range. My skin feels better after using and I think it makes a difference using it day and night.
The rose water is known for its soothing virtues, the formula hydrates skin and restores softness and suppleness.

5 Ways To Love Your Body

Society is just screwed up we are meant to look a certain way, be a certain size etc we can't get away from it, it's everywhere magazines, newspapers, Instagram, twitter and Facebook. We see so much body shaming it's unbelievable in this day and age and it needs to stop!.

Diet companies are always promoting losing pounds, it's the same in magazines then next page is a recipe to make brownies (though brownies are the best!) it's just WRONG!. If magazines printed every body size out there, instead of shaming people for being the 'wrong size' then we wouldn't be so hell bent on changing our bodies when we don't even need to.

These diet companies are making money from us because we think we need to change our body but really we don't. We should ignore them and learn to love ourselves which is what this post is about today.I've thought about writing a blog post about body positivity for a while now but I didn't really know where to begin but after reading Grace Victory's tweets this morning it inspired me to write this post.

1. Write down I LOVE MY BODY and stick to your mirror and read it everyday.

2.Unfollow Instagram and twitter accounts that always post negativity and unfollow brands that don't promote body positivity in all sizes.

3.No one is perfect, so embrace your flaws and love the things that make you unique. Don't compare yourself others it isn't going to help your body is good enough and don't let ANYONE tell you different.

4.Try and avoid magazines that constantly body shame people for being too skinny or being too big who actually writes this stuff?! and how would they feel if someone body shamed them?.

5. Surround yourself with upbeat, positive people who bring out the best in you.

Thanks for reading
and I hope this post helps you into becoming more body positive.

It Doesn't Matter

This idea came to me on my way to work today on the bus lol random I know but I think it will help others.

Do you ever feel like your blog isn't good enough? do you feel like you should be posting certain content? well let me tell you, you don't need to be like that! your blog is for you to post whatever topics you want such as life posts, make up, fashion, taboo subjects whatever YOU want!. This is why I'm writing this post to tell you it doesn't matter if you don't have this or do that etc.

                                                             It doesn't matter if

Your blog isn't as fancy as bigger bloggers.

You don't own an expensive camera to take photos

You don't own marble backgrounds....just go to a DIY shop and tear of wallpaper samples! #win

Your Instagram doesn't have a theme

You don't have 1,000's of followers on twitter/Instagram/Facebook c'mon let's be honest we don't even know them!.

You don't own designer clothes, make up etc just because other bloggers do it doesn't mean they've paid for it! don't buy things just to fit it.

Your content is different.

You take photos with your iPhone/other phone.

You don't take photos of your food! JUST EAT IT BEFORE IT GETS COLD!.

I hope you liked this post
